What’s difference between credits and units?FAQ icon

API units can only be used for API calls.

Purchasing the 'Pro' or 'Plus' plan, or credits, does not provide API access.

Can I use YouCam Online Editor for commercial purposes?FAQ icon

Commercial use is only allowed for Pro subscribers and for images generated using API units.

How do I migrate my old Facebook account to the new registered one?FAQ icon

We apologize for the technical issue with the Facebook Connect login that has affected your experience on YouCam Online Editor.


Due to this issue, customers who typically log in using their Facebook account may experience difficulties accessing their accounts. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.


To ensure uninterrupted access to your account, we strongly recommend that you re-register for our service using alternative methods such as email or Google login.


If you have previously registered with Facebook, please follow these steps:


1. Register for our service again using an alternative method (email or Google login).


2. Reply to this email with:


1) The email address used for Facebook.


2) The email address of the newly registered account.


3. Our team will promptly migrate your old account data back to your new account.

I would like to understand more about the privacy of my photos. Does Perfect Corp. have access to the photos?FAQ icon

Photos uploaded to YouCam Online Editor are temporarily saved in our server and are not made public anywhere else. If you use the Share feature, your images could be publicly available depending on how you choose to share your images. All images will be deleted from our server after 7 days, even if you use the share feature.

How can I remove the watermark?FAQ icon

Get a subscription YouCam Online Editor to download images without a watermark.

How does enhancement affect the resolution of my image?FAQ icon

The preview page usually has two output resolution options.

General enhancement resolution which scales original resolution two times.

Best Quality enhancement resolution which scales original resolution four times.

However, both types of enhancement will not exceed the maximum output resolution of 4096*4096.


* If the resolution of the photo you upload is already more than 2K wide (i.e. 2048 pixels), the Best Quality option will not appear because the result will exceed the maximum output resolution of 4096 pixels wide.

Select a photo with lower resolution to use the Best Quality option.

What kind of images can I use with YouCam Online Editor?FAQ icon

For the best results, you can use old, blurry, or low-resolution portrait photos, product images, or landscape pictures. YouCam YouCam Online Editor is the best photo enhancer to turn your old pictures into ultra-sharp high-resolution images.

How can I solve this error, “Oops! Might be user input unsupported format, server issue or other unknown issue”?FAQ icon

You may have uploaded an unsupported format. Please try again with a supported format: JPG, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, and GIF.

After clicking the share link why do I see the message, “Invalid link - The link has either expired or is incorrect”?FAQ icon

Shared links expire 7 days after creation. If the link is still valid, ensure the URL is complete.

What is credit?FAQ icon

Credits are a digital form of currency that can be utilized on the YouCam Online Editor platform for various services, including downloading images.


These credits are exclusively applicable when using the YouCam Online Editor website.




What will happen if the subscription plan is upgraded?FAQ icon

If a user tries to upgrade the subscription, more credit or unlimited tools may will be granted.

Please check the example below.


Example:

A user purchased a Plus monthly subscription plan ($9.99) on 2025/3/1 and would like to upgrade to Pro yearly subscription plan ($69.99)  on 2025/3/15

New Plan:

The user needs to pay: $60.00

Upgraded calculation:

$69.99 -  $9.99 = $60.00

Credit provided to user with new plan:

200 credit (300 credits – 100 credits) on 2025/3/15



What's difference between Pay as you go credits and Subscription?FAQ icon

We have two different pricing types (1) Subscription & (2) Pay-as-you-go

(1) For subscription, you can choose either a monthly plan or an annual plan. For example, if you subscribe Plus monthly plan, the system will assign 100 credits to you and charge $9.99 for the monthly plan.

If you subscribe Plus annual plan, the system will assign 100 credits every month and charge $39.99 for the annual plan.

If you didn’t spend all of your monthly credits this month, don’t worry, our credits can be used within 60 days after you get them.

(2) As for pay-as-you-go, you can use the credits that have a one-year validity period but the pricing may be higher than the subscription plan.

What's the AI Avatar pack plan?FAQ icon

For the AI avatar, there will be a different pack plan ( To generate different amounts of avatar images) which is different from the pricing models above and you can check which pack you need for the AI avatar when accessing the AI avatar.


PS: The pack plan can’t be divided into two small pack plans. So when you buy the pack plan for the AI avatar, you will have to use it all at once.

Is YouCam Online Editor free?FAQ icon

Everyone can enjoy the service for free, but all enhanced images will have a watermark. Try out our enhancement tool to see if it meets your expectations. If you are satisfied with the results, you can get a subscription plan for the best experience.

What is the supported payment method?FAQ icon

You can purchase a subscription with a credit or debit card (Visa/Mastercard/JCB/American Express, etc), PayPal, Apple Pay and other methods*.

How can I change my subscription plan for YouCam Online Editor?FAQ icon

To upgrade your plan:

  1. Visit YouCam Online Editor.
  2. Log in to your account (Email, Google or Apple)
  3. Tap My Account > Account > Upgrade
  4. Choose your desired upgrade plan.
  5. Tap Upgrade

Note:
- You only need to pay the difference.
- Your new subscription plan will replace your old plan and start a new subscription period from the date of upgrade.
- If you want to downgrade your plan, you need to cancel your subscription and choose the new plan you want to purchase. See “How to cancel my subscription?” for more details.

How do I cancel my subscription?FAQ icon

To cancel your subscription:

  1. Visit YouCam Online Editor.
  2. Log in to your account (Email, Google, or Apple)
  3. Tap My Account > Settings > Cancel the plan, or
  1. Visit myAccount to manage your subscription
  2. Log in to myAccount by the instruction
  3. Click "My Products" page
  4. Click on the "Cancel Subscription" button in the subscription you would like to be cancelled.

*After you cancel your subscription you can still use it until the expiration date.

Note:
- Cancel your subscription before the billing date to avoid unwanted charges.
- Subscriptions renew automatically.

Can I request a refund for YouCam Online Editor?FAQ icon

If a user tries to cancel the subscription and asks for the refund within 7 days, the refund will be granted(partial refund)

If user subscribes the annual plan and want to cancel it in the middle of the period, the full billing cycle will still be completed. In case of any special circumstances, please contact YouCam Online Editor team.





Can I transfer my subscription between YouCam Online Editor and YouCam Enhance app?FAQ icon

No, it is not possible to transfer your subscription from one to the other. Subscriptions to Web and the mobile app are different services and run on separate platforms.

To change from YouCam Enhance app to YouCam Online Editor:

  • Cancel your app subscription to stop automatic renewal (you can still enjoy your subscription until the expiration date).
  • Purchase a new subscription on YouCam Online Editor.

  • Cancel your Web subscription to stop automatic renewal (you can still enjoy your subscription until the expiration date).

I can’t log in with my login detailsFAQ icon

For accounts created by email, confirm that you entered the correct email address and password. If you are not sure, or have forgotten your password, please click reset password and follow the instructions. After your password has been reset, please log in to YouCam Online Editor with your new password.

For accounts created using Google, Apple, or Facebook, select the corresponding method to log in. Please note that creating YouCam Online Editor accounts using different sign-up methods are registered as different accounts and cannot be connected, even if those accounts are linked to the same email address.

How can I change my YouCam Online Editor account password?FAQ icon

To change a password for an account created by email, please click reset password and follow the instructions.

After your password has changed, please log in to YouCam Online Editor with your new password.

How can I delete my account?FAQ icon

To delete your YouCam Online Editor account:

  1. Log in > Tap My Account > Settings > Delete account
  2. When you receive the email to delete your account, open it and click on the link to delete your account.

Note:

  • If your YouCam Online Editor account does not have a confirmed email address, you need to add an email address and confirm it before deleting the account.
  • All data associated with your account will be deleted permanently.
